Background and Discussion:
Amendment No. 3 will provide continued support for new standardized cost estimating processes with training and resources for Flood Control District staff, documentation of process workflows, and creation of job aides. Additionally, provide staff augmentation resources for a Program Director and Project Controls Planner to continue to manage the programmatic framework for the CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT programs. This amendment primarily supports the CDBG Programs to ensure that project delivery is as efficient and coordinated as possible with all stakeholders.
Expected Impact:
This amendment provides support for Flood Control District staff through the 2025 fiscal year, providing staff augmentation personnel essential to the CDBG Program, training and deployment of Estimating Guidelines, and process documentation.
Alternative Options:
The alternative to approving this item would be selection of a different consulting firm to perform services, which would result in delay and re-work.
