Background and Discussion:
On June 26, 2025, Harris County Commissioners Court approved the PY2025 Annual Action Plan for Entitlement funds, which included a Harris County Public Service Program global project that is supported by the public service project activities listed here.
1. Harris County Precinct 1: One for All Foundation for Environmental and Climate Education Program in the amount of $42,304.
2. Precinct2gether, Inc. for Transportation Voucher Program in the amount of $179,130.
3. Harris County Precinct 3 for Barrett Youth Enrichment Summer Camp 2026 in the amount of $60,000.
4. Precinct4forward for Summer Day Camp in the amount of $55,702.
5. SEARCH Homeless Services for SEARCH PSH Case Management in the amount of $489,625.
6. Child Advocates, Inc. for Court Appointed Special Advocates in the amount of $65,042.
7. The Children's Assessment Center for Therapy and Interviewing Services for Sexually Abused Children in the amount of $75,000.
8. Healthcare for the Homeless-Houston for Comprehensive Dental Care for the Homeless in the amount of $70,000.

Expected Impact:
The project activities will benefit individuals and families who reside within the Harris County service area of whom at least 51% are from low- to moderate-income households. The total cost of the Agreements is $1,668,629 and is totally funded with PY2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
Alternative Options:
If the agreements are not approved, then the low- to moderate -income households in the Harris County
service area will not benefit from the respective public service project activities.
