Background and Discussion:
Situated south of the Veterans Memorial Drive exit, off the Sam Houston Tollway-on 33 acres nestled in the neighborhoods between 249 and I-45-Richard P Doss Park is a popular outdoor destination for visitors of all ages and abilities.
Expected Impact:
The existing playgrounds at Doss Park have surpassed their life span. This project will feature revitalized
playgrounds with modern safety standards for children ages 2 to 12. It will also incorporate a new
multipurpose tennis/pickleball courts, enhancing outdoor recreational spaces for all residents.
