Background and Discussion:

Approximately 80% of roadway panels are in poor or failed condition, with widespread cracking, ponding, and

settlement. Curb‑and‑gutter and stormwater inlets are also in need of repair. Sidewalks along both corridors

are narrow, damaged, and lack ADA‑compliant ramps, limiting safe and accessible pedestrian mobility.

Expected Impact:

These upgrades will create a smooth, reliable surface for driving, and more consistent accessibility through a

repaired pedestrian network to nearby schools and bus stops while inlet repairs will improve drainage and

reduce street ponding, directly benefiting approximately 1,500 households.

Alternative Options:

The alternative option for this proposal would be not to enter into the agreement and seek other options.
