Background and Discussion:
Harris County Resources for Children and Adults in collaboration with the Houston Alumni for Youth (HAY) Center has been chosen as a grant funding recipient to support a therapist position at the Houston Alumni Center (HAY). The therapist will be managed by the Harris County Resources for Children and Adults Integrated Clinic. The grant’s objective is to provide mental and behavioral health services across the continuum or children at risk for abuse or neglect.
Expected Impact:
The grant is to cover the salaries and fringes of one Therapist position, supplies, mileage, and cell phone service. The grant is Cost Reimbursement at 50% and Harris County Resources for Children and Adults will cover the other 50% from General Funds.
