Background and Discussion:
On June 6, 2023, the Commissioners Court approved the selection and award of vendor Geocko, Inc. DBA FORWARD to administer the accelerator grants application and data platform for the Harris Hub program.
This cost-neutral amendment seeks to implement a mix of milestone-based payment structure along with billing based on funds distributed to allow the vendor to better pursue program implementation and invoice the county more efficiently.
Expected Impact:
Upon approval of this amendment, Geocko, Inc., DBA FORWARD, will be able to continue implementing the Harris Hub small business program and invoice the County based on milestones completed and grants applications processed.
Alternative Options:
Failure to approve the Amendment between Harris County and Geocko, Inc. DBA Forward will limit the vendor’s ability to implement the Harris Hub program more efficiently.
