Background and Discussion:

Request for a renewal of the Lease Agreement approved by commissioner’s court through Harris County Constable Precinct 7.  The space accommodates the center of operations for Harris County Constables Precinct 7. 

 

 

Expected Impact:

The renewal request will secure and provide office space for employees and officials to continue all ongoing operational activities within the jurisdiction of Harris County Constables Precinct 7.

 

 

 

Alternative Options:

As there is currently no space available in a county owned facility, there appears to be no viable alternative.

Prior Court Action (if any):

Harris County entered into an original lease agreement on August 9, 2005 for the benefit of Harris County Constable Precinct 7.  The terms of the lease were favorable enough for the County to simply amend and renew the lease. The Harris County Tax Office and Justice of the Peace, Precinct 7, Place 2 are also located in a nearby suite in the same complex.
