Background and Discussion:

The project is located in northwest Harris County, north of Cypress North Houston Road and east of North Eldridge Parkway. The existing drainage system consists of roadside ditches which outfall to the west of the subdivision via 24 to 36-inch pipes at three points along HCFCD Channel K161-00-00 and to Cypress Creek from a fourth outfall at the northeast corner of the subdivision. The scope and proposed improvements include bringing the subdivision roadways into compliance with Harris County Standards, constructing storm sewer underlying roadside ditches, regrading roadside ditches, upsizing and replacing driveway culverts, replacing driveways, and the construction of a storm water detention basin.
