Background and Discussion:

Contract renewal for year 3 (renewal 2) of the Desilt Outfalls and Storm Sewer Systems for the Harris County Flood Control District contract.  These services will provide support for infrastructure maintenance work that will be executed as a result of the passage of the “Maintenance Matters” Proposition in November 2024.

Expected Impact:

HCFCD will use this Term Contact to minimize response times for work order repair projects countywide (Precincts 1, 2, 3 & 4) for Harris County.

Alternative Options:

No renewal will increase the response time to the work repair projects for reducing flooding within the system.
