Background and Discussion:
A traffic study was conducted for West Road at Bridge Park Drive, which warranted a traffic signal at the intersection. The traffic signal will enhance safety as it relates to the intersection operations. The request for acquisition of the tracts would allow our contractor to conduct the necessary construction elements onto the existing property that's outside of the County's Right-of-Way.
Expected Impact:
A traffic study was conducted for West Road at Bridge Park Drive, which warranted a traffic signal at the intersection.
Alternative Options:
One alternative option is not to obtain the necessary tracts. This will require extensive surveying work and redesigning the signal layout that will significantly delay the construction of the signal.
