Background and Discussion:

The Office of the County Engineer Harris County Engineering Department has recommended 9 disaster recovery projects to be funded by the CDBG-MIT grant valued at approximately $150,000,000. The 9 projects are ambitiously planned to be delivered over a 4 year period. To effectively deliver the projects within this accelerated timeframe, management resources are required, including external personnel for Program Management, Project Management (Design and Construction) and Construction inspection. Additionally, external resources are required to perform environmental studies to support grant application approval.
