Background and Discussion:

 

Construction of storm sewer, structures and detention ponds in the Harris County Precinct 2 limits.

 

Expected Impact:

 

Construction of storm sewer, structures and detention ponds will improve flooding conditions and

enhance drainage capacity, thereby improving mobility and safety for all road users and flood resiliency

for all adjacent properties. This purchase order will ensure that all construction materials used in the

project are of acceptable quality as required by state law.

 

Alternative Options:

 

Without professional architectural and engineering services to perform the study and design the construction of residential developments the General Land Office will not approve funding for this project and could potentially end all the project.
