Request for approval of a certain project, decreeing the project to be a public necessity and convenience, and directing the Harris County Real Property Division to acquire, four (4) road easement tracts for the public project known as Intersection Improvements - Hufsmith Rd at FM 2978, Stuebner Airline Rd, and Kuykendahl Rd-Phase III-2025, for the purpose of roadway construction, UPIN 24103MF34P03, Precinct 3.

Background and Discussion:
The parent project included the intersection improvements for three intersections. Phase III is the design and construction of the Hufsmith Road and Stuebner Airline intersection realignment and signalization will allow for better mobility along Hufsmith Road. The improvements will increase level of service and decrease delays. Along with the signalization, the project includes dedicated left turn lanes.
Expected Impact:
The new alignment will provide an improved sight distance and safety. The new signal will allow for improved access from Stuebner Airline Road.

Alternative is for the existing alignment configuration to remain.
