Background and Discussion:
The POD will provide a welcoming and comfortable space for all individuals who may require lactation or wellness facilities, whether they are employees, jurors, or members of the public visiting the courthouses. The need for such spaces has been recognized as crucial to maintaining and promoting the wellness of mothers who are breastfeeding. The POD would be installed at Juvenile Justice Center located at 1200 Congress, Houston, TX 77002.
Expected Impact:
The POD will provide a comfortable, private and secure space for mothers who are breastfeeding.
