Background and Discussion:
The project is located in Northwest Harris County in both the White Oak Bayou and Cypress Creek watersheds, west of North Eldridge Parkway and north of Cypress North Houston Road. The existing drainage system consists of roadside ditches. Proposed improvements include an upgraded storm sewer system and re-grade roadside ditches. This agreement will provide Professional Services from the Engineer of Record during construction phase.
Expected Impact:
This project seeks to reduce flooding and strengthen resiliency in Harris County by assisting in the alleviation of structural flood damage to homes in the Dowdell Woods community. No impact on project schedule or cost anticipated.
Alternative Options:
If no action is taken, the engineer of record will not be accessible for support through the construction of the project.
