Background and Discussion:

Harris County Public Health is requesting this contract amendment for the vendor to streamline the importation of client-level performance data to enhance the timeliness and completeness of Clinical Quality Improvement key indicators and benchmarks. The amendment will also enhance Harris County Public Health/Ryan White Grant Administration’s Centralized Patient Care Data Management System (CPCDMS) that will allow stored CPCDMS data to be imported into Texas Department of State Health Services Take Charge Texas database system.

Expected Impact

Ryan White Part A and Ending the HIV Epidemic Subrecipients will be able to import data stored in their Electronic Medical Records (EMR) directly into CPCDMS, custom map their respective systems workflows, build-out import capabilities and reports, and data output into the Centralized Patient Care Data System (CPCDMS).

Alternative Options:

Approval ensures that client-level data transferred by Ryan White Part A and EHE-funded Subrecipients and stored in the CPCDMS is able to be imported into the Texas Department of State Health Services Take Charge Texas for State of Texas reporting requirements.
