Background and Discussion:
Curiosity Cruiser is a state-of-the-art mobile library that provides Harris County children with access to books and exciting educational programs that integrate reading with science, math, technology, writing and the arts. The Curiosity Cruisers are staffed by Harris County Public Library employees, while books, supplies, materials, technology and other mascot maintenance, and repair costs are paid for with grant funds from Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation.

The Curiosity Cruiser inspires Harris County children to develop a love of reading and gain access to great books and STEM opportunities - leading to lifelong learning and the ability to reach their fullest potential in life.
