Background and Discussion:
On September 10, 2024, Harris County Precinct 2 submitted a BetterStreets2Neighborhoods (BS2N) project request to the Office of the County Engineer to replace severely damaged concrete pavement panels along roughly 19.6 miles of residential streets in the Clear Brook City Public Utility District and surrounding areas.
Expected Impact:
The project aims to identify the most damaged road segments and reconstruct their concrete surface and subgrade as funding allows. No engineering design work is needed; the on-call contractor will rebuild prioritized segments to maximize repairs within budget, improving drivability, safety, and overall roadway conditions.
