Background and Discussion:
Harris County Engineering Department (HCED) received a request from Precinct 3 to manage the study, design, and construction of the Mobile Homes Parkland subdivision reconstruction project within Harris County. Reconstruction will provide 22’ wide asphalt roads with roadside ditch drainage to the subdivision. The scope of this project includes drainage analysis, preparation of street alignment and typical sections, preparation of construction estimate, preparation of utility conflict list, provide exhibits/renderings for public engagement, environmental, survey, and geotechnical tasks.
Expected Impact:
To provide Precinct 3 with professional engineering study and design services for the reconstruction of Mobile Homes Parkland and annex the reconstruction of Lochness Dr. and Greenbow Ln. to the Precinct road log. This project is funded by the 2022 Bond.
Alternative Options:
Without this project, the annexation of the reconstructed Lochness Dr. and Greenbow Ln. in Mobile Homes Parkland will not be realized as requested by Precinct 3.
