Background and Discussion:

On August 27, 2024, the County entered into an agreement with 3L USA to rent fuel tanks in case of emergencies. Quick access to emergency fuel will help the County respond rapidly to wide-scale outages, maintain critical infrastructure, and keep operations running smoothly for both County facilities and community services that need temporary fuel. This also protects public safety during emergency situations. The County is now seeking approval to renew the contract for the emergency rental of fuel tanks.
