Background and Discussion:
It is recommended that the Harris County Flood Control District be authorized to accept an amendment to the Federal Emergency Management Agency Legislative Pre-Disaster Mitigation (FEMA LPDM) Grant Award for the Meyergrove Stormwater Detention Basin project. This grant award amendment will extend the period of performance from 9/12/2026 to 4/1/2027 and continue to provide financial and technical assistance to the Flood Control District for the Meyergrove Stormwater Detention Basin project. The amendment extends the period of performance by 6 months and 18 days with no change in funding.
Expected Impact:
