Background and Discussion:
This project consists of base repair, milling and overlay, striping, and traffic signal loop improvements along Hargrave Road from SH 249 to Falba Road, approximately 5,200 feet (0.99 miles), and along Dowdell Road from Kuykendahl Road to FM 2920, approximately 9,900 feet (1.9 miles).
This change in Contract includes:
(PCO #1, RFI #4) MC2 is requesting a 9-calendar-day contract extension with no additional compensation. The request is primarily due to multiple rain-out days during the 47-day contract period, as well as schedule impacts from performing concurrent roadway and driveway work.
Expected Impact:
The expected impact is to reconcile the contract time with documented project delays and provide the additional time that was necessary to complete the remaining work.
