Background and Discussion:
Freed playground is a heavily used play space with low play value. The playground size is small considering the usage level this play space receives. There are no shade structures protecting the equipment from UV rays. The fall surfacing currently is a wood fiber that is a yearly maintenance item. Collectively these items are creating the need for an upgraded playground providing enhancements to the community.

Expected Impact:
Installing a new inclusive playground will enhance the play value for the community to use. This new playground will achieve this by providing an all-inclusive element that the area did not have before.
