Background and Discussion:
This request supports the creation of six positions to strengthen operational and programmatic capacity at Harris County Public Health. Six positions within the Office of Technology Services (OTS) convert temporary roles to full-time positions to maintain critical operations for the agency while reducing reliance on general fund expenditures by converting six temporary positions to full-time positions.
These positions will provide the technical expertise necessary to design, develop, secure, and maintain enterprise applications, cloud-based solutions, and data integration platforms that support the agency's operational, clinical, and analytical systems. The team will modernize legacy applications, develop scalable enterprise solutions, implement secure data pipelines and data warehouse architecture, and ensure reliable interoperability between clinical, public health, and enterprise systems.
