Background and Discussion:
This is a request to approve a voluntary right-of-way acquisition for P100-00-00-30-009.0, 62 vacant residential lots within the Greenbriar North Patio Homes buyout area. This acquisition will complement other Flood Control District acquisitions in the area, just north of channel P100-00-00 for floodplain preservation.
Expected Impact:
Purchase of these properties will restore them to their natural function as a floodplain.

If the Flood Control District does not acquire this vacant property, it could be developed and future structures would be subject to flooding.
