Background and Discussion:
Preparation for Adult Living (PAL) provides services to youth transitioning out of foster care. PAL 206 is
dedicated to Transition and Financial Support Services, formerly Case Management and Aftercare Services. Transition Support Services assists Youth/Young Adults with updating or developing a transition plan for self-sufficiency and monitors Youth/Young Adults' progress toward meeting their goals and refers Youth/Young Adults for community services to meet their needs. There are two types of Transition Support Services: Pre-Transition Support Services and Post-Transition Support Services.

The budget period for this award is September 1, 2026 – August 31, 2027.
