In 2023, Harris County was awarded grant funds in the amount of $3,000,000 by the Department of Health and Human Services/Health Resources and Services Administration. The initial grant period for this award was September 30, 2023, through September 29, 2026, for the purpose of providing primary care and mental health services to Harris County residents.
