Request for FY27 Food Expenditure for Public Health Department via Purchasing Card. Harris County Public
Health (HCPH) hosts a variety of essential community outreach programs, seminars, conferences, wellness events, trainings, emergency incidents, and various health initiatives that constitute the purchase of food and light refreshments. Under the discretion of Public Health Executive Leadership, such congregations will be determined where provisions would materially enhance the furtherance of gathering objectives. We respectfully request permission for the use of Harris County Public Health procurement credit card (P-Card) to pay for light refreshments, food, and related items for various community-based HCPH meetings, outreach programs, emergency responses, seminars, conferences, wellness events, and various health initiatives and employee appreciation events. The items will be purchased from October 1, 2026 - September 30, 2027, in an amount not-to-exceed $50,000.
