Background and Discussion:
The purpose of this transmittal is to request the acceptance of the summary of scope changes since the Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) titled Halls Bayou, Hardy West Stormwater Detention Basin (SWDB) and Channel Improvements Unit No. P118-00-00 to continue with the full implementation of the project. This project is generally located along Halls Bayou between West Hardy Road and Airline Drive approximately 1.5 miles in northern Harris County. The purpose of this project is to improve drainage conditions along HCFCD Unit No. P118-00-00 (Halls Bayou) within the project location and to mitigate flood risks in the study area. The project started under the leadership of Lockwood, Andrews, & Newnman (LAN) with the Engineer of Record being Woolpert where the project had reach 90% completion.
