Background and Discussion:
The Harris Center Board of Trustees acts as the governing body of the Harris Center in accordance with Sec. 534.001 of the Texas Health and Safety Code. The Harris Center is the publicly-funded, local provider of community based behavioral health and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) services for Harris County and the surrounding region.

Expected Impact:
Appointment to an expired seat assigned to and previously nominated by the Commissioner of Precinct 4, which will enable continuity of operations and leadership on the board.
