Background and Discussion:

Project included the reconstruction of Hufsmith-Kohrville Road from Hollow Glen Lane to 500' North of Ezekiel from 2 lane asphalt road to 4 lane concrete curb and gutter boulevard with 32' raised median with traffic signals at Lacey Road and Ezekiel Road. There are two outfalls within limits of the project, North Pointe Boulevard and Champion Wood Drive detention ponds. The requested change order is necessary to compensate the contractor for additional scope. These changes materially altered the original scope, cost, and schedule, warranting appropriate contract adjustment.

The change in contract includes the following:
The final adjustment (reconciliation of actual quantities used in construction against the bid
quantities). -$1,577,806.51).



Expected Impact:
This change will allow the Contractor to be properly compensated for the additional work.
