Background and Discussion:
On Saturday, October 3, from 1:00 pm–3:00 pm, Project Row Houses Executive Director Danielle Burns Wilson will participate as a panelist during Untitled Art at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Untitled Art is an arts fair that is striving to highlight Houston’s art scene by generating revenue for local galleries and artists. Now in its second year, Project Row Houses is participating as a community partner.
After the panel, Danielle Burns Wilson will invite art patrons to join Project Row Houses for their Biennial Round, Southern Survey, where seven new artists will exhibit their work in their traditional row houses with guest curator Jessica Hong and compete for a $25,000 prize. The Biennial Round will take place from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Project Row Houses, located at 2521 Holman St., Houston, TX 77004.
With the Precinct 4 bus, art patrons will be shuttled to and from the George R. Brown Convention Center so they can experience Project Row Houses and learn more about their artists and organization.
