In 2024, UT Health was awarded $5,444,524 to implement Harris County Accessible Child Care Training & Supports (ACCTS), an initiative designed to strengthen the county’s child care workforce through career advancement and professional development. ACCTS supports current and aspiring child care professionals, including directors, teachers, staff, and home-based providers, through training, credentialing, scholarships, and other workforce supports.
