Background and Discussion:
The Department of Economic Equity & Opportunity requests to continue the lease of seven (7) parking spaces at the 1301 Main Street (Green Street) Garage to supplement allotted parking in the 1111 Main Street Garage for employees. The approximate cost for fiscal year 2027 is $11,000 for the period of October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027. The department will use general funds for this request.
Expected Impact:
There is no expected County impact, but this request does allow for in-person schedule for the DEEO staff.
Alternative Options:
The Court could choose not to approve the request; however, this would limit the number of DEEO staff on-site each day due to parking availability in the 1111 Main Street Garage. This would limit collaboration and compliance work.
