Background and Discussion:
Precinct 4 has worked in coordination with Gulfton Management District to implement public art installations in the district including the installation of 5 murals promoting unity, paths forward, music and culture, food and community roots. FLEX funds have been used to fund murals.

Expected Impact:
These funds will be used to create artistic elements such as murals, structures and sculptures with the following purpose: state or local economic development; for small or disadvantaged business development; to stimulate, encourage, and develop business location and commercial activity in the County; to promote or advertise the County and its vicinity or conduct a solicitation program to attract conventions, visitors, or businesses; to improve the extent to which women and minority businesses are awarded County contracts; to support comprehensive literacy programs for the benefit of County residents; and for the encouragement, promotion, im...
