Background and Discussion:
On October 30, 2025, the County entered into an agreement with Contractor to provide electronic monitoring equipment and services for the Department with annual renewals allowable under the original agreement.
Expected Impact:
Per State of Texas statutes, hearing officers and judges shall impose bail under the least restrictive conditions to reasonably assure court appearance and community safety. Electronic monitoring allows for an alternative to incarceration and is not detainment.
