Background and Discussion:
Extension of contract for Job No. 210229 to extend the armored car services for an additional year. Original contract approved on 10/29/2024 for one year with four (4) one year renewal options.
Expected Impact:
We are not at a period to issue a new RFP for a new provider. Without renewal it could create a potential contract null period that could disrupt service to all Harris County branches and departments that use bank service in the County.
Alternative Options:
Services would terminate with no alternative solution for cash pickup and/or delivery to departments and branches across the County that serve the citizens.
