Background and Discussion:
Veteran Services Department (VSD) has participated in extensive outreach efforts within the veteran community throughout Harris County in FY 2026. We will continue to plan and attend community-based and VSD-planned outreach events in FY 2027. This request is not a request for additional allocations of general funds in FY 2027.
Expected Impact:
This approval will allow VSD the opportunity to continue to connect and engage the Harris County veteran community at outreach and in-house events.
