Background and Discussion:
This project includes the construction of four 11-foot-wide concrete pavements with a 24-foot median, and an 8-foot-wide sidewalk along both sides West Gulf Bank Road from Interstate 45 Freeway to Airline Drive. It also includes drainage improvements.

- Added overrun quantities to Item 83 - 4-1/2" Concrete Sidewalk in the amount of $19,822.74, with 0 days.

- The budget variances across the project resulted from a mix of effective resource management and value engineering, and strategic procurement that led to cost savings in some areas, while necessary scope adjustments, unforeseen site conditions, and regulatory compliance requirements caused certain items to exceed their budgeted amounts. This change will deduct -$947,179.43.

Expected Impact:
Increase the total number of days for the contract.
