Background and Discussion:
The Refugee Health Screening Program (RHSP) at Harris County Public Health (HCPH) provides comprehensive health screenings for newly arrived refugees. The RHSP provides transportation services to its patients, recognizing that many newly arrived in the country and often lack reliable means of transportation. The renewal will allow us a pool of approved vendors we can partner with to ensure patients have consistent access to transportation.

Expected Impact:
By securing these services, we can better support patients in attending their health screenings and other essential appointments, ultimately improving access to care and reducing barriers faced by newly arrived individuals who qualify for transportation services.
