Background and Discussion:
DEEO has conducted extensive outreach throughout fiscal year 2026. We will continue to conduct outreach events through the end of the fiscal year. Outreach has included and will continue to include additional community-based meetings, outreach programs, conferences, and initiatives to reach community small business enterprises, local small business owners, workers and stakeholders. DEEO's goal of continuing expansion will require additional funds for light refreshments, food, and related items. The items will be purchased between October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026.
Expected Impact:
This approval will allow DEEO the opportunity to continue outreach events for small business enterprises and other local businesses and expand opportunities to connect and engage with the community.
