Background and Discussion:
Project includes general civil services including concrete and asphaltic repairs at various locations throughout Precinct 3. The change in contract is to include reconciliation of actual quantities used in construction with the estimated quantities included for bidding purposes. The Precinct has requested for new bid items to be added.
Change includes adding the following bid Items:
1- Item 104 - Concrete Curb & Gutter ($24/LF - PCO # 93)
2- Item 105 - 8" Asphalt (including tack coat, placement, compaction, and restoration) ($140/SY - PCO # 94)
All missing in the current bid. The new bid item is only to establish the unit price and there is no change to the contract amount.
Expected Impact:
Change allows Contractor to complete the requested work orders within the Precinct 3 limits.
