Background and Discussion:
The County plans to enhance the appeal and accessibility of the Highland Reservoir by exploring additional recreational opportunities that complement the site's natural scenery. To support this effort, the County will retain InfraTECH to conduct a feasibility study evaluating potential recreational amenities, accessibility improvements, locations, and phased development options for the reservoir.

Expected Impact:
The project will enhance the reservoir's recreational appeal and accessibility for residents and visitors by providing dedicated parking, TDLR-compliant access ramps, improved wayfinding signage and striping, and expanded amenities such as kayak launches, fishing piers, nature walks, and trails. These improvements will create an attractive and desirable recreational destination for the community.
