Background and Discussion:
This is a request to approve right-of-way acquisition for South Mayde Creek Stormwater Detention Basin in the Addicks watershed. These properties are located along South Mayde Creek (U101-00-00), west of Raintree Village Drive and south of Morton Road.
Expected Impact:
These properties will be used for and provide stormwater detention basins to reduce water surface elevations along U101-00-00.
Alternative Options:
Not approving this item would result in the channel improvements remaining unmitigated and it would not allow the project to move forward leading to a potential loss of CDBG funding for the project.
