Transmittal by the Flood Control District of the executed amendment to the agreement with the Texas General Land Office to approve one project for the CDBG-DR Program (24-033-000-E072).

Background and Discussion:
On June 6, 2023, Commissioners Court approved a list of potential CDBG-DR projects under direct allocation to the Flood Control District. This approval authorized the Flood Control District to begin working on project applications for the approved project list. Upon application approvals by the Texas General Land Office, the projects are required to be formally added to the CDBG-DR contract. Project applications for 1 of the 11 DR projects above the funding line have been reviewed and approved by the Texas General Land Office. GLO has requested that we amend the current contract to include this one project so we can seek reimbursement on expenditures related to this project. This transmittal is for the Third Amendment to the Agreement, which will add the following project to the contract: Genoa Red Bluff Regional Stormwater Detention Basin. As additional applications are approved, the CDBG-DR contract will be further amended to include those projects.
