Background and Discussion:
This is an amendment to a previously approved grant agreement with Results for America to create a video explaining the ability and process to pay for Class C misdemeanor cases in justice court. The grant activities were originally contracted to be completed by 07/31/2025. Due to some unavoidable delays, we requested and were granted an extension until October 15, 2026.
Expected Impact:
The Grantee has been given a no-cost extension to the term of the grant. The grant end date has been changed from 07/31/2026 to 10/15/2026. The extra time will allow us to complete the project with sufficient attention to detail and opportunity for the appropriate rounds of edits to have a polished final product.
Alternative Options:
Without the amendment, we will need to rush this project, potentially ending up with an inferior final product.
