Background and Discussion:
Pursuant to the Congressional appropriations, the Drug Enforcement Administration receives authority to pay overtime for police officers assigned to/or and working the formal HSTF, who are incurring necessary expenses for detection, investigation, and prosecution of crimes against the United States.
Expected Impact:
The overtime will be used to conduct a joint criminal/drug trafficking investigation by the Organized Crime Section.
