Background and Discussion:
Precinct 3 issued two Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for civic art projects in Barrett (at Riley Chambers Park) and Highlands (at Highlands Park). Upon review of the best and final offers from the selected vendors, the total cost of proposed civic art improvements for Barrett results in a remaining balance of $17,160.68. The contract award recommendations involve the reallocation of Barrett's remaining $17,160.68 to the Highlands project to support the implementation of the proposed civic art improvements at Highlands Park.

Expected Impact:
This funding reallocation will result in the complete expenditure of the allocated ARPA FLEX funds for civic art projects in both communities. The civic art improvements will elevate the parks' civic presence by integrating art with play and foster community identity through inclusive, multi-sensory experiences that complement
the existing park infrastructure.

Alternative Options:
Alternate options include not utilizing the remaining Barrett funds or reallocating those funds to another project.
