Background and Discussion:
As per Harris County Auditor's accounting and grant setup procedure G.5
"Grant Renewals/Rollovers", new grant end dates have been established to accommodate the required position extensions for the expiring PCNs listed below.
With the partial extension of CDBGDR Harvey and addition of CDBGDR Beryl, grant funded positions will be reassigned to new department IDs, projects, and activities, and the positions will be extended to updated end dates.
The following PCNs have been extended and/or updated for the reasons outlined below:
1. Reclassification of 2 expiring CDBG-DR PCNs to Flex Fund to support administration of the Flex Fund program.
2. Extension and update of 17 expiring CDBG-DR PCNs to CDBG Entitlement.
3. Extension and update of 5 expiring CDBG-DR Harvey PCNs to the CDBG-DR Beryl Grant.
4. Extension and update of 4 CDBG Harvey PCNs through August 31, 2026.
5. Reclassification of 1 expiring PCN from CDBG-DR Harvey to HCHFC (Harris County Housing Finance Corporation).
