Background and Discussion:
The project consists of the abandonment of the end of Industrial Road, removing the existing Harris County drain to the Houston Ship Channel (HSC) that is currently a single 48" diameter and replacing with two 54" drains and extending our existing dock ~350. The construction of a security boat dock for the Harris County Sheriff's department for use for security patrol boats will also be added.
Expected Impact:
The Harris County Sheriffs department would gain access to a security boat dock to use for the launching of security patrol boats.
Alternative Options:
Alternative routes will have a greater impact on existing public infrastructure.
